This largest of all bird parks in the world covers some 20.2 hill-side hectares to the delight of almost 900,000 visitors in 2009 alone.

Although strongly committed to conservation and research, it also features numerous venues at diverse enclosures with tremendous world class entertainment shows.

With over 8,000 birds representing 600 species, the displays and attractions have something for all ages.

From exciting birds of prey in the King of the Skies show or the Fuji World of Hawks show to the gentle Birds n Buddies Show, no-one is left out. The Pools Amphitheatre has shows that are hilarious with cockatoos, and also hornbills, macaws and flamingoes.

There is the Southeast Asian Birds Aviary Sanctuary comprising 24 separate aviaries; African Waterfall  Aviary with over 1,500 free flying African birds; Lory Loft with an incredible tree-top level walk providing a true birds eye view; and confounding the senses for this locale,  Penguin Parade Enclosure mirroring an Antarctic setting with 200 penguins; Early Bird Breakfast Show, literally have breakfast whilst actually interacting with selected, prized birds such as a 45 year old sulphur crested cockatoo.
