Options for helping you out with triplets

Having triplets is no doubt becoming a very daunting task for you and getting prepared for the caring side of things can be even more daunting. You can always ask as many friends and family as possible to come and assist you in looking after your babies but what do you do if they aren't available to help you when you need them to? There are other options for you to consider and there are a wide variety of people you can employ to help you out in all situations possible.

Give some of these some consideration when it comes to getting help:

Night Nannies: When you bring the babies home you will no doubt need as much help as you can, so a good idea is to ask one of the nurses who were working at the NICU if they would be willing to earn a bit of extra money to come home and help assist you. These nurses will be used to dealing with multiples as they are obviously dealing with them all the time at the hospital, and you will find that most of them too are used to night shifts as they are constantly require to do them at the hospital. This can be particularly great if you worked up a good relationship with a specific nurse who would be perfect to offer this to. It's great to have somebody like this on hand as you can always use the baby bonus you receive from the government after the birth, and it will give you the opportunity to get a bit of rest and have somebody else take over from the stress of looking after your multiple children!

Day Nannies: These can be expensive, especially if you hire them direct from an agency. A good idea is to hire ones from your local university or schools as there are generally a good amount of students on website such as job search Australia looking for a bit of part time work who are willing to come and help out. You could post an ad on some of the notice boards around campus and see what you find, or you can even post some ads in other places such as your local newspaper or newsletter or even online.

Keep a look out and an eye out for what potential people you can hire to assist you as it's always a good idea to have that extra support on hand should you need it. Never discount the importance of having some help there for you as you probably won't realise how much work there is to actually be done until it's too late! Never be afraid to ask for help and you will find the experience of raising triplets much simpler!
