Whirling around and around on Dizzy Diana, flying skyward on the Mini jet, going into orbit on Space Shot, laughing on the Mini Train or basking in the peace of the Swan Boats. There are thrills for all ages and daring  and 11 of the parks rides are meant for kids.

Bangalore Aquarium: Renowned for its pleasant climate year round, this venue is sure to capture the kids attention. A short list of the tantalizing creatures to be viewed: red tailed shark, Indian tiger barb, angel fish, freshwater prawns, mahseer, Siamese fighters, blue gourami, catla and glow light tetra. Also in the area is Bangalore Bal Bhavan, a nice, placid amusement park with emphasis on the kids ‘interacting’ etc. Horse rides, swings, plenty of tree houses, that sort of thing.

Essel World, at Mumbai: This has been touted as India’s largest amusement park and for very good reason. Name your ride type or excitement preference level and this park will meet that as one would expect for one of the worlds largest nations. Yard Train, Junior Go-Cart, Caterpillar, Convoy Track, Big Apple, Mini Telecombat and Convoy Track are aimed at the kids.

Hanging Garden and Kamala Nehru park: -both are centrally located and Hanging Garden has an expanse of great shade trees and the kids will love to climb in the giant shoe there. Across the road is the amazing Kamala Nehru park which has many manicured topiary animals which the kids and tots will think the live item was turned into trees. With many spacious lawns, there are many places to spread a picnic blanket. Mumbai Parks alone are well worth the time to unwind and relax for a picnic with the kids.
